I posted this in the bass fishing section as well, but I will re-post here

I need some help. I have a small 17' bass tracker and I am going to fish choke on Saturday morning. I need to know where I should put in and fish to stay off the main lake as much as possible.

Also, any other tips you guys can give about what works at Choke would help me a lot as well.

Thanks in advance fella's.

With the wind coming from the South and Southeast this weekend, I would put in at the South Shore Unit and have tons of area to fish out of the wind. JMHO

With a south or southeast wind you would be able to fish quite a bit of area around any of the ramps, southshore, calaham, or 99 bridge, mason will probably be a little rough.

Watch out for trees and good luck.

I think I am going to put in at the 99 bridge and try that area until I get run off by the tournament fisherman. Thanks everyone.

I was thinking about using a c-rig fluke, watermelon red?
