 Do I tip or not??

I am going to Port O'Connor this weekend with a guide. He has a cabin that we also rent, and are feed very good steaks one nite and fish the other nite. 795.00 for all and lots of fun. Went last year and fished hard until 5pm. I would like to know shoud I tip and what is the norm.

Just got back from matagorda this last weekend we went out about 58 miles started at 600 am till 500 pm we tip the guide $100 on top of the $800.

For the guide, I normally tip $40-$50-perhaps more for the all-inclusive full service trip.

whos the guide? let us know how it turns out i usually take my boat but am intrested in doing a guided trip soon to see if i can learn somthing

We ended up with a limit of trout, but he had to work for it. Last year we were done with the trout by 10am. This year we went to the same spot and nothing, he bounsed around 5 or 6 other spots it was 1pm we had 6 trout. We pulled up the next spot, bait fish all over, by 3:15 we had are limit. We went for Reds in 2 other spots, cought a Flounder. 5pm I said I give up and need a beer. We fished with Ken Griffin his web site is www.griffscharterfishing.com. We had a great time he never gave up and was feed some great food. Rember it is called fishing not catching.
