Got to Lavon at 11 am and pre fished a bit. B-lined it to a cove and got sloppy seconds after Jerry. Still managed to land 12 keepers. Met Richard at the ramp at 2 pm. He is the one that won a free trip at my seminar at Bass Pro Shop last week. Limited by 4 pm. Lost some hogs at the boat too.... All females over 13 inches were released today to do thier thing,..... After Richard hit the docks and went home, I went out and found 13 more in the coves. -All released. All were females too.... 5-6 ft Black Chart Jigs Boated over 60 crappie this outing...

Late start today due to the kiddo was in school, so Dad had to wait till he got out. But, it didnt matter. Fishing was better than I have had it in awhile. Since the wind was not bad, I was able to safely take clients out on the main lake. Everywhere I stopped, it was a THUMP and a fish flopping in the boat. These guys had never jig fished before, but within 5 minutes 4 fish were boated. The kiddo landed two before my iPhone camera was ready to take a picture. He just kept reeling them in.... He was beating dad 4:1.

Nice job Carey! By the looks of things, I may be ready to go on another trip with you after I finish with finals.

I like whatever people hire me for. But I do miss the waders. All the spots we are in, you can wade. Google Map a cove and figure out how to get there and the fish are there. 3-5 ft.

80% were female and full of eggs. Most had not even started to lay eggs yet. Some have laid over half.
