Arkie head, most versatile on the planet... You can flip it, pitch it, swim it, or drag it!

Ball Head (Finesse) and Arkie Head (flipping) are my top 2, but I throw all 4 of the ones listed above plus a grass jig pretty regularly.

very correct.

i have thrown a few swimjigs, but the ones i throw arent meant for wood and I lose a BUNCH. i fish them different than they are designed for. i like the way they fall.

+1. definetly the most versatile jig style IMHO. I also throw a lot of finesse jigs. I throw football jigs 3rd. I love to throw a swim jigs where ever I find grass, and especially grass/rock transitions. I'm not as confident in flipping jigs so I don't throw them as much, but when I get back to the states, I plan to do a lot of flipping and pitching with jigs.

I throw a fliipin jig most of the time. I really wish I could go out with someone who threw a swim jig. Always wanted to learn that style.

I fish a swim jig almost like a spinnerbait, not much difference. you just want a light jig like 1/4 oz or 3/8, so it rides up high in the thick stuff.
