Just wondering what your favorite baits are to flip or throw around boat houses for lots of bass? Soft plastics, cranks, jigs anything.

Depends on time of year. My overall favorite is a shaky head finesse worm but certain times i crank them. Bluegill spawn ill pump a wat/red big bite yo mamma or a jig. Fall u can blade and swim jig. Just a variety of suff

I like a weighless rattlesnake or tornado around the pillings! That slow fall is hard to resist.

it seems to change each year. the snakes and tornados on a shaky head always catch quantity... but when you can hone in on what produces quality- you can win tournies. even then, that one bait will sometimes need to be adjusted throughout the day (weight, color, size, etc).
I love fishing jigs, so I always try to find some variation they will eat. i try to stay away from the smaller baits unless I am just fishing to catch fish.

The only baits I don't throw at boat docks are a C-rig and spinnerbait (that will change soon)

for numbers a shakey head is hard to beat. for bigguns a jig is impossible to beat.

Not to hijack the thread, but what style/weight jig do you like around floating boat houses/marinas? Any trailer or color preferences?
