I fished Moses Lake only once, so don't know of any coordinates or landmarks, but where I had some luck was in the middle of Moses lake. There is a channel that runs about 7ft through the middle of the lake and we hooked some trout over that gut. If you look at Moses Lake on Hot Spot map you will see what I am talking about. I fished Moses back in December when it was chilly, but I am figuring with the water temperature rising it might be good fishing that channel during the summer.

I can't remember the name of the Marina, but it's on the South Side of Moses Lake. We took a left at that Church's Chicken before you get to the dike. Then that will take you into a neighborhood. I just pulled up yahoo maps and it looks like the street is 29th St N. As soon as you see a boat storage area, that's where the marina is at. You have to pull through the boat storage area and it's a gravel road. I hope my directions are right. Maybe someone can help me out here, because it was dark when we back there. I know that we took a left at Church's Chicken off the dike road. I don't think I was much help, but if I talk to my buddy who showed me the way down there, I will give you some more specifics.

Yeah, I just spoke with my buddy and he said it's called Fish Spot. I hung up the phone before I could ask him about any hot spots, but I will be talking to him later this week.

I have been keeping my boat at Fish Spot's boat storages for about a year now. I've fished the lake a number of times (mostly in poor weather) and tried all manner of baits. I have yet to catch anything larger than an 8" croaker. Saw some huge gar there last summer. Floated a big croaker around them for hrs. Fished one live shrimp a month or so ago that lived for 6-8hrs on the hook and was finally released. It was the first time I can ever remember sitting that long with one live shrimp on the hook and NEVER getting a bite. I think you really have to know the lake to catch fish in it with any consistancy. Deep holes in dead of winter are supposed to be tops but even that has failed me so far. I spent one cold day soaking live shrimp on the bottom of the hole after reading reports of killer trout action there a few days before. Never got a bite, nobody else did either so it wasn't just me. I think when the bait camps have full bait tanks (because nobody is cathing fish), they just call the paper and say how great the fishing is. Next few days they sell all their bait and then it's the next camps turn.

My boat may be there but I won't be putting much fishing pressure on Moses lake this year..
