Thieves broke into Barlows Tackle in Richardson last night/ early morning. I went to get two rods repaired and a few baits for a friend. When I pulled up a few minutes after they opened a police car was at the front door and the glass was gone to the front door. I told them I would post this in case anyone knows anything or happens to see reels for sale cheap. Please contact: Richardson Police Dept. or Barlows Tackle Shop 451 N. it happen few years back too. there was a whole rack of loomis right in front. they didn't take any.

A place like that just needs a good Rottweiler hanging out in there at night!
I was there for the first time this weekend and got some jig materials. Pretty cool place. Just not sure why they charge more in the store then they do online for some stuff!?

It is a cool place! It is great to be able to go in with rods that need eyes repaired and they take care of you immediately. They have been there for a long time. I seeing stuff like this happen, I hope they find who did it.

Seems to be the happening "thing" of late, and with the same method of entry. They were in and out of my shop in less than 2 minutes, which equated to a loss of 30k.
