Caught a 12 inch craw in the cast net before. Watched it throw its fingers up at us while me and my ex watched it dance for the corners of the dock. Looked like a lobster lol.

I always get the wad of weights from the bottom of the net in the middle or in the top of the net with a stick every now & then. Still can't throw one of them things worth a dang !

Would be PB bluecat of 17 lbs and a 7 lb largemouth in one throw at PK during the first fish kill, put them back after weighing even though they probably did not live.

I caught a cat practicing in my back yard not too long ago. Really scared me cause that cat was determined to rip my brand new $100 net apart! I wont do that again!

38 channels from 4 - 12 inches and 5 drum!Winter at Ray Hubbard - Air temps were in the 20s - net was froze as soon as I dropped it in the boat.
Removing those cats with frozen hands was a pain.

Caught a 5 gal bucket with a lid that had a pig I'n it. Also caught a trolling motor last year at the RR. But to date the craziest thing I have seen caught was a purse that had 3000$ I'n it my friend caught it at Texoma off the boat ramp at burns run we returned the purse with the money and she ended up giving us 1500$ for being kind enough to take it to OKC.

I caught about 10-12 six inch long Gator gar one time. Caught an old water can with 3 Pearl beers in it....they were the old pull top cans.

Dont drink anymore but i f I recollet back from 70s....wasnt Pearl beer water in itself?Maybe its fittin it was caught ina "watercan"... grin

As for me I caught a Uglystix Catfish Rod 8ft that had a Bass Pro Cat Maxx reel on it. I drained it oil drop here and there and it is still in use today some 2 years latter. (about $90 plus tax value). I have caught a few broken rods and such too. The biggest thing was about 10-12lb Buffalo, various LMB and such and so forth. Oh also other cast nets that had been tnagled and left for gonner on rocks and snags on bottm of lake. (they make good fishing weights when salvaged).
