I think like most anglers I have a "mini BPS" at my house and probably have way too many baits. I have a habit of grabbing stuff that catches my eye then throwing it in a plastic tote box to eventually get around to putting it in the boat. despite the fact taht I have a massive pile of stuff now I randomly realized I could not find one of the smaller Koppers ftog's I had bought last winter. Why it crossed my mind or how I remembered about that one bait I have no clue. Long story short I just tore the house apart as well as the boat and truck today looking for it. That wicked OCD I have would not let me rest till I found it. Sure enough it was right where I had left it. It was wedged between the wall and the tote box...

I just hung my first 48" X 48" pegboard in the shop. Should I be concerned ??

It is a terrible addiction that is fun to have. How many times have you gone through all your baits? Kinda sorted,looked,arranged,etc, but did not really change much of what you carry in the boat, just spent a lot of time handling your extra treasures in storage.

i have cut back on the buying part. mainly because theres no more room in my tackle compartment but also i have realized that i have something for everything. maybe not the exact color or weight or brand that everyone else has but i can target the same fish in a different way. works kinda good actually.

What?????? There is nothing wrong with all the boxes and rubbermaid totes in my hallway closet. Same deal goes with the extra 150 lbs of plastics in myboat. Its normal I say!!!!!!!

What is bad is when you buy an entire peg of a certain color at BPS or Cabelas just so no one else has that color.

I re-organized my tackle bag and realized that half my winter lures are gone because I tend to give them away when I don't use them. I need'em now but well hey... they're in my buddy's possession. Oh well at least he's catchin' em while I watch... Irritating.

I may not beat you in a tournament, but you'd be a fool to take me on in a battle over who has the most tackle....I RULE!
