Looking at buying a pair this week. I have a small fit head. I was looking at the Oakley Half Jacket with shallow blue lenses or some Costa's with 580 blue mirror and green mirror lenses. Anyone know which one has the best fit for smalller profile but still wrap around the face to block out sunlight. I have some smaller fit Berkley ones from Wally World but they suck for sight fishing!!!

Thanks guys

Go to Overstock.com

LureEyes!!!

These are my favorite. I have a small head too, these will give you no pain throughout the day. They were over $100, but are on closeout...highly recommend them!

I have a pair of both. I use the Costa's with amber lenses for sight fishing and Oakley half jackets when i go deep sea fishing. Good rule of thumb always use amber lenses on freshwater and any dark polarized lenses when deep sea salt water.

Oakley HALF Jacket would be great for you. I rock the Flak Jacket but have a medium/large head. RE: Lens- I'd say shallow blue or VR28 Polarized. I tried Costas and hate how the 580G lens its so heavy on the head... Great lens though.

I went with oakleys after finding the Costas hurt my head after a long day on the water. The 580 lenses are nice but I just didn't like the frames. Oakleys are great and give 0 issues.

i just recently changed from O's to the costa 580glass lens type. A big difference to me, my head doesnt hurt from eye fatigue at the end of the day. I dont know what was doing it, but my O's were the cause of it. maybe the lenses were distorted or too scratched up... but it would give me a massive tension headache behind both temples by the end of the day. it was miserable.

I do not know if one is better than the other, but I do know that the Wylie X is made in America. They are owned by retired military and are given to all military personel. That is enough in my book so I bought a pair and I realy like them.

I think the temple headache thing is a main result from improper frame fit. On the Costas I had the stem of the frame went back way too far on my head and put pressure on me causing headaches. Also combined with the heavier glass lense I think it is a losing battle. While Polycarbonate lenses are supposedly 'cheaper' less quality, I don't see the point of rocking a glass pair of lenses while fishing. God forbid you have a tungsten weight fling back at your head/eyes and you're wearing glasses- what happens next? At least now I know if I get wacked with something my glasses won't shatter into my eyes. I think Polycarbonate is much safer and more durable as well a ton lighter. However, the negative is they are much more easily scratched- so take care of them well.
