I love the devils. But I've never been on the amistad side. Nice pics and even nicer fish!

Agree with Dean (District Paddle) about those two clear water pics--unbelievable. It's even more amazing in person.

Great write up Danno. thumb

The pleasure was mine, amigo. Thanks for booking the trip.

No doubt, this is the premier kayak fishing adventure in Texas.

The catches and photos speak for themselves. wink

Congrats on your trophy smallies!!! cheers

These trips are about catching the fish of a lifetime, not running rapids.

Didn't you get enough of that the last time you went on your own??? wink

The only thing "rapid" about my Devil's trips is the fish catching. grin

Thanks everyone!

I am a photography enthusiast so I brought my camera with me on this trip in hopes to get shots like these! B_rod is correct though, you have to see it in person. No photograph I could take would do it justice.

We were catching bass on just about everything. I think if I would have asked nicely enough, they would have jumped in the yak for me lol.

Not many "rapids" per se on this trip Dave. The Ouachita had three times as many shallow areas than we encountered on this trip
