 What shape are the Fishing piers in the Surf at Galveston in after the storm?

Just wondered if any of the locals know if the piers are still in good shape on Seawall Blvd? I just read where a guy said that the San Luis Pass Pier was totally destroyed. Has anyone been fishing from the jeties out of Galveston? How's the fishing, planning on doing a little surf fishing or pier fishing around August 1 and 2?

I was there last weekend (7/18-20) and people were fishing the pier and jetties along Seawall Blvd. The "t" on the pier was damaged but they were still fishing on the undamaged part. I also saw lots of wade fishing especially around San Luis Pass.

Just got back tonight. San Luis Pier is conpletely gone. Wade fishing all around the Pass though.
91st pier is open except for the THead. Fish there last night caught only gafftop and hard head. Saw a good size bull red brought in just behind us. Also, some whiting at the end near the THead.
