Just to keep you updated on my move from Florida to AP Texas. The dock is in and they are putting up the walls. Move in date early August. Should be learning to fish the bay and offshore soon after that. I will post photo's as soon as I figure out how.

10,000 pounds. I have a Sportcat with 2 4stroke Honda's 225 horsepower each. Total package about 6000 pounds but it is better to go with something that can handle it well.

Kahuna Kalai,

It's looking good! Maybe one day I will be lucky enough to move down that way. It would be nice to be that close to the salt and big blue.

Good luck with the move in and learning the gulf.

I agree about the capability, used a 6000# up north for a 2500# boat.

Great looking place, welcome to Texas.

Looks like that channel that heads towards Conn Harbor. Great location for great bay fishing or to head on out to the Gulf.

Very nice, I wish I could live there too. Wondering if you are going to have lights on the pier to bring in reds, spec and flounders.

The original picture was taken beginning March. Six weeks later it starts looking like a house. By September I hope to be fishing with you guys.

So...when do we get to christen the house with a proper BBQ?

Congrats Kahuna, I'm moving back to the coastal bend also after 8 years drifting around the country, perhaps we can fish sometime!

Congratulations! What a great set up. I aspire to spend my days in such a nice place fishing the coast someday.

Kahuna,
Hows the knee? Do you think you could/would like to make a tuna trip with us nuts?
