Hey folks...go west of the landfall site. North and East will get the worst of it. This hurricane is a mean one. Predictions are landfall as strong category 4. Don't wait...grab what you can and get out. God Bless all in harms way. If anyone wnats to haul *** for Georgia you're welcome at my place.

_Earlier on the news they showed a University Of Texas Computer Model of a Cat 5 storm hitting Galveston. It shows 19ft of Storm Surge water covering the entire Island!

_Even at a strong Cat 4, the upper Texas Gulf Coast will be totaly devistated.

See it everyday would be wonderful, right now people are crazy...I am 100 miles from coast, have seen people fighting over batteries, fighting over last two cases of water instead of taking one and giving one, have seen them put 8 loaves of fresh bread on the shelf, and one woman cut in front of eveyone and grab all eight before anyone else could take one, then look back at the others like they were fools for not grabbing first...My niece witnessed a man getting shot on the highway, some pulled in front of the other guy...People need to realize everyone needs help and sharing in getting thru this thing. I pray Gods blessing for everyone in this time of need for help.

Highway 6 south leaving College Station is moving about 20 mph at noon on Saturday. The masses are headed back home since Galveston and Houston missed the bullet. Officials are saying not to get in a hurry because of electrical outages, etc, but the roads are loading up.

Hope all have a safe trip whenever they decide to go back. A good friend of mine over on Whisker Kitty, ETEXJOHNNY spent all of Friday with a five gallon can of gas going up and down Highway 59 around Henderson helping people that could not find gas to make it into Henderson. Way to go Johnny
