The Family is heading to Cancun for a week in late July and I was wondering if anyone knows what would be the best fish to go after during this time...inshore/offshore? and also any guides that you would recommend...

Thanks,

Tom

Try www.Cancun-Fishing.net they have a calender that shows types of fish available for each month.

Big Dorado, Black Fin Tuna , Blue Marlin and they have good bottom fishing for Sanpper and Amber Jacks or Grouper for sure!

The Hotel will cook your catch. banana

Thanks Bazztex... I clicked on the calendar link, but get an error message...I e-mailed them so that should get me the info I need...would really prefer to get into some permit or tarpon, but offshore doesn't sound bad either...

Well since Cancun has a Tropical Climate much like Florida... they have Tarpon, Snook, Bonefish, and Permit in Ascension Bay.
