Local nationwide auto repair chain says I need to have the brake fluid changed in my ol pick up. (2004 Chevy 2500) with 160,000 miles. It probably does, but should it cost $125.00?

Drain, fill, bleed at each brake. How much time would it take you to do it yourself?

Drain, fill, bleed at each brake. How much time would it take you to do it yourself? dont forget the automated bleed procedure(compatible scan tool needed)to get the old fluid out of the EBCM ! It sounds a little high ( we get about $85 for a complete flush) but you choose to go to a national chain. You gotta pay for the franchise and the highway frontage.

Thanks for the information J-Spencer. I wish I could find a good private shop around here.
