Does anyone know of a good place to catch catfish from the bank? Somewhere close to Arlington I am looking to take my daughter fishing and looking for a decent spot!!

There are some great ponds around the flower mound area that produce many cats. Also try some branches off of grapevine lake

Lake Arlington is a great lake for channels and I got the flathead in my sig pic from lake A
I met you at the bowman springs ramp a while back
we should go out some time I can help you find some nice channels in there

Isn't Lake Arlington polluted? No way. Btw... I've witnessed some monster flats pulled out of that lake. There used to be a bait store near by and they had a tank where they would display some fish caught by the owner & frends, etc. I know they primarily used trot lines. But..yah....there's some good flats in Lake A. 
Recent Notables: 40lb Flathead, 30lb Carp, 25lb Buffalo.
