My prayers go out for Kelly and his family. I just got off the phone with a mutual friend and it is confirmed that he has cancer. It is melanoma. From what i have gathered, it is in the early stage and on the surface. I will be talking with him tomorrow and will keep you al posted. I know he has alot of friends on the TFF.

Hopefully caught early...my wife had a suspicious mole on her back. One dermatologist told her it looked okay. She got a second opinion that biopsied the mole and it was melanoma. They basically had to go back and remove more skin to get clean margins and left a pretty good size zipper but fortunately that took care of it with no other treatment necessary.
My understanding is melanoma grows down then spreads out so if caught early and only on the surface hopefully he should be okay. Once it gets too deep and gets in your system it is deadly.
