Any idea which of these two creeks would be best for kayak fishing this weekend? Rowlett Creek or the creek between Lavon and Ray Hubbard? I would guess that if the sand bass would swim up one creek, they'd swim up the other. Seems like all the commotion is around Rowlett Creek. Can anyone explain why?
Thanks,

its because the gates are off at lavon. both creeks did good last year. lavon might have been better for hybrids since the gates were on for so long. i fish RC maybe 4 times this year. water is low and not moving very fast. not fun enough to go fish it from a yak. to many people blockin you. i hear that the connector creek is good for fish but have never fished it except for below the dam. IMHO, fish RC. the fish just dont want to go up to lavon since them gates are off. both will be tough to get a limit from. best bet is rc, if you have wadders then use them around the firewheel area. get there early and hold your ground!!! good luck bud!!!

I would fish at the mouth of the creeks and work my way up. I would fish the dam if the gates were open but not in a Yak.
