had a blast last sunday and cant wait till next sunday. its a private country club and they dont allow public fishing, but my uncle works there and they will only let me fish on sundays till 10am. i caught a total of 9 fish not counting the 3 that got away as i was bringing them in. here are a few pics from sunday morning.

Good fish man, looks like a nice time.

i've caught all my bass this year on a spinning combo. i like to use it to throw weightless plastics and like Rico i spool the braid on as well. 20lb test 6lb dia. spools on great and casts nicely. nice fish buddy!

Using a spinning rod is a little more fun as it allows you to play with them more. Although you hook a big one and you better be ready to put in sometime to bring her in

definately midgetoe. the spinner i have has the drag control on the front of the spool and i've had to tinker with it a bit while fighting some of the bigger ones

Why don't you just back reel?

After you get good at it you will never go back.

WARNING: You will hear from some folks who ONLY use the drag and REFUSE to try new and exciting things, DON'T listen to them.

I haven't tried back reeling yet but letting the fish take the drag is definitely fun.
