Hi
We are going up to Cooper Lake on Easter weekend. Have only been there once and it was too windy to do much. I hope it is better weather this Easter.
Anyway any hints or tips to help get the kiddos on a sandy or hybrid. I am usually under pressure from the kids who wanna catch a fish. When with buddies if we catch fish or not it is good but when I have kids in boat that dont fish much I feel bad when they dont catch anything.

Thanks In Advance.
Mark

My family and I will be camping out at Cooper this weekend also. They are calling for more wind but I will try around the dam.

The lake is 8 to 9 foot low. There are humps that you CANNOT go across. Be careful. last week the sandbass and hydirds were schooling along the dam and around some of the shallow points and humps. Look for the birds.
My cell number is 903-348-1619. I will be glad to try to point you in the right direction..
