can some-one recommend a guided trip for me and my girl-friend out of corpus christi. I just want to be abole to take her out and catch some fish. what would yall recommend.

Are you interested in doing Bay or flats fishing or trying to go offshore? Lots of options here, especially for fishing the Laguna Madre. Tell us more about what you want to catch or expect to fish for.

If you want to catch alot of fish and enjoy yourself with a really good guide, I would recommend Rick Loveday. He fishes from the causeway south to Baffin bay, but I do not know of a trip where we did not clean fish for a hour or so. He can be reached at 361-946-1182.

If you just want to fish in the bay. We always go out with Captain Clark om the Phase II he is right at the T Head in Corpus just drive through the boat docks. It is only about 26.00 per person for four hours we always have fun and catch alot. For tips they will even clean your fish when you are through.

I would look up Dolphin Docks or Wharfcat. Each costs about $70-80 for and 8 hour trip. They are in Port Aransas.

Charlie Benson (361-986-1119) great guy, great guide. Fishes from causeway south to and including Baffin Bay. Guides out of Clem's Marina. Comfortable boat.
