Greetings!
We will be staying at the Kontiki Beach Resort for the first time. Does anyone have any experience fishing on there piers? How about Live Oak Point next to the resort? Can you wade that area? Thanks!

Dsias, Here's my suggestion on Live Oak Point. Park and walk out to the first wooden footbridge. Just before the bridge wade out in the water. Right here is a reef that extends perpendicular to the shoreline and you can wade out pretty far. I've fished there without too much luck but I've seen people pull in large trout on plastics at the end of the reef. Good luck!

Hardhead is right on. I have seen others work all the way down the point fishing in both directions (toward shore and towards bay). Also, some go out to the left before the bridge and fish out in the deeper water.
Last time I went didn't have much luck. However, I have been there with the wind blowing from the southwest and caught lots of fish.
I usally go over the Copano bridge to the right to the bait stand. It's convienent, though the owners are cold.
