Bob R Crappie Jigs has agreed to sponsor Brian Carter (Duck_Jerky) and Wes Belcher (Bottom_Bouncer) on the Crappie Anglers of Texas Tournament Trail, and ultimately the Crappie Masters National Championship.
Their accomplishments include: over 35 top-10 national and local tourney finishes, numerous 1st place finishes, and the 2009 Texas State Championship.
Brian and Wes began fishing Bob R jigs in the CAT Tournament at Lake Lewisville on April 16th. They will represent the Bob-R Pro Staff at local and national tournaments, CAT meetings, online and at retailers who carry the Bob-R brand.
Brian and Wes are very accomplished Crappie Fisherman and we are proud to have them representing our hand-made products.

Wes and I are excited about the relationship with Bob-R Jigs. Jack and his wife, Markey are great people, with a great product. I remember fishing these jigs with my father and grandfather when I was growing up.
Keep an eye out for the new website and retailer listing to be coming in the next several weeks. We are finalizing the logos and jerseys right now. The metroplex area retailers are:
- Barlow's on Central Expressway @ Beltline
- Buoys Ship Store on Murrell Park Road in Flower Mound
- Fisherman's Supply on I-30 in Garland
Of course, you can purchase them directly from Jack and Markey at 903-860-7218.
Wes and I will have sample packs with us, and plenty of jigs on hand to check out at various events.
