Anyone have any suggestions for striper guide on Twak? It really depends how you like to fish. Different guides will put you onto different fish. Do you like the thrill of chasing that big 10+ lb striper and not care so much about sitting on a school of sand bass? Are the sand bass your thing where you get to relax sit on a school and drink a few...... Most will fish with lures but there are several that will use live bait.. I have found that Tony Parker is by far the best in my opinion for all situations but if you shoot some answers to these questions I'm sure others will chime in.

Matt Cartwright, Jimmy Smith, Joe Read are all great guys and can put you on fish and keep you there.
There are several other guides there and I'm sure they do a great job as well, I'm just more familiar with these guys and would recommend them to anyone.

Matt (Lakeguide) Cartwright I have personally talked with and fished beside several times. He is a great guide. Fastguy is also completely correct, Joe Read and Jimmy Smith are also great guides. Either of these guys will put you on a ton of fish. I have Matt lined up to go in May and I can hardly wait.

Give Matt Cartwright or Joe Read a call. You can't go wrong with either of these two guys. Anyone can give you a boat ride and catch schooling fish but these guys will work their tail off to put you on fish when no one else is catching.

Like the others have said
Joe Read Matt Cartwright
I've had the pleasure of fishing with both of these gentlemen several times a year and I can tell you that there isnt anyone else I would rather be out on Tawakoni looking for big stripers and hybrids with. They can cater to large groups as well, Ive done a few very successful multiple boat trips with them and everyone was very happy. I cannot recommend these two enough!

I have fished with Joe Read www.joereadsguideservice.com and like other have said he will work hard to put you on some good fishing.

Look at Trents posts and pictures on here. Trent does a good job for his clients.
