A boat ramp, trust me!! I tried to put my Boston Whaler in the other weekend on my beach with an ATV and the trailer sank to the axles. Had to drive my truck down to the lake and broke 2 sprinkler head while doing it.

Dons Port Marina off of 274 will put you in mid lake.

You might want to check the weather before you head out.

I am planning on going in the morning also. Big chief is not bad right now.

Wise decision to go to CC. You will do well. Also, a public ramp in Caney City on southern end of lake. I see tons of people launch from there, so I assume it is boat friendly and safe.

Is the ramp over a caney cove ok to launch at right now. I have a dual axle trailer.? Thinking on trying some bridges.?

The gene pool could use a little chlorine.

I launched there a couple of weeks ago, it was good. I think Chuck has been launching there frequently.

We made it out there also. We caught about 20 sandies and one keeper hybrid.
