Lake Lavon looks like an awesome place to me! Is there a good place to tent camp there with decent bathrooms and showers that also has a crappie dock to fish from? Needing a good spot to take the boys camping this summer and would like to do some good fishing while there  Also is there anything like this near those tire reefs I see in Flounders videos? Thanks in advance gents!! Danny

I know you can tent camp at East Fork. The tires are at Collin Park and I'm not sure if they allow tent camping. It isn't far from East Fork to Collin.

Bit Man I fish out of Lavonia Park but they do not have a dock. I normally fish from the rocks. They have a nice camping area.

Is there some good fishing from the rocks Retired? Catching catfish Im guessing? Heck with the kiddos I wouldnt mind even just catching blue gills and other perch. Thanks guys!
Can you go out on the boat slips at Collin Park and fish from them or are they only for the folks who pay to use the slips?
