If the pro's are going to be out this afternoon, I wonder how that could affect CABA tonight. I wonder if a pro will get mad at a tournament contestant fishing an area they are pre-fishing or will it be a friendly atmosphere exchanging tips or will some guys be a total DB.

I am taking a RARE Monday night off tonight for my daughters last two high school softball games of the season. Maybe I will run over to weigh in.

fishing from the bank this morn around bay view marina saw several pros come into area. several trucks and trailers in parking lot east side ramp. Shaw Grisby among several others. only saw one person catch anything while i was there. couple small ones on top water. myself, i caught 3 for about 11 lbs. on square bill crank bait, bluegill pattern.

Tommy Biffle showed up to our weigh in yesterday at Dalrock. Talked to him for about 30 min. Or talked at him. He couldnt ask any questions, but he was all ears if ya know what I mean. Nice guy.

According to Sunday DMN offical registration is Wed. 3:30 to 5:30 with free seminars afterward. Weigh in is at 3:00 p.m. each day. 50 anglers compete first two days then cut down to top 12 for final day. BPS Garland weigh in site.

Only been out there once myself and it was last week for 3 hours only. That boat ramp off 66 is horrible! You can't really launch on one side and the other side isn't to much better. Before I launch a hummer with a ski boat got stuck because he went to far back. They had 5 people down there lifting the trailer up to get out!

I hope they have security or beef up patrol watching those parking lots. The "Meth Heads" smash & grab crew will be in full effect especially in the queens lot with those high dollar rigs.

As I drove over Miller Road bridge this morning I counted 4 wraped boats just fishing the rocks and the rail road rocks.

I was at Bass Pro yesterday and noticed Garland PD had their tower in the parking lot. Is this something they have been doing? Or is it because of the event? I am hoping it is something they will continue.
