How far would you travel to purchase a boat?

Depends on the deal, but I would definately stay in Texas, don't want to have to mess with title transfer.

There really no reason to go too far, unless it's for a "specific" boat. There are plenty of good dealerships in the areas on you display.

I had on customer that went to Indiana to get a Loaded Ranger and another to New York for a pilot house Parker. Both are very pleased. I had one two years ago delivered from Virginia that I bought on E=bay and another from California. So.....I guess, coast to coast and border to border, as long as you do your homework.... A couple of years ago I sold two 150 suzuki motors to a guy in Bolivia. He came to the U.S.A. and rented a truck. Transported the motors to Florida and shipped them to Bolivia. So......

Like Mike said do your homework. I have bought boats from Miami, Shreveport and Louisville.

Having had a bad experience in Port Isabel with a failing dealership just be careful-make sure they are a going concern and not about to take bankruptcy. What seemed like a good deal wasn't after all.......

Like Mike said do your homework. Last two I bought were both 1600 mile round trips. Be prepared though. Sometimes seller AND pictures don't tell tha whole story.........Been there too.
