i wanted to thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers. it's been tough....real tough.
bottom line is this little boy felt he had no "go to" person - someone that he could talk to - a strong role model in his immediate life. i wish we could have lived closer and had more involvement in his life. some people have argued with me on "WHY" it happened...i was reaffirmed when Dustin and I were driving down the highway and saw a billboard that said "Every boy deserves a MAN in his life"...then i looked across the highway and saw a sign for "Joe's Auto Shop" - if that ain't a sign...I don't what is.

Lakelass,I am truly sorry for your loss,I can say I know how you feel.I lost my son five years ago this July.it is a pain that you will live with the rest of your days here. I miss my son every day that I draw a breath, the only thing that keeps me going is I know someday we will meet again. May God Bless you and keep him and family close to you in this trying time.

Lakelass, the Lord speaks to us in alot of ways. Those signs, where there for a reason to ya'll. I am so sorry for this lost. It hurts my heart to hear of these things. I know there is a God above, and I'm praying for God to bless ya'll with strength at this time of need. If you ever need to talk, I'm just a pm away. I'm pretty sure, there is alot others just a pm away for ya.

That's really tough and the world is really tough for kids now days especially the sensitive kids. I'm sure he will be at rest now but I'm sure your families heart is broken from this.

This is why we here at Youth in the Wild Outdoors do what we do for fatherless boys. Because these kids need us all of us more than ever.This world is a tough place and like i tell the boys all the time "I GOT YOUR BACK".We will be praying for you Lass, Me and the boys they are so sad to hear this just know his passing has reinforced some fatherless boys lives about doing the right thing and standing for one another.
