I like the Fireline crystal braid because it is easier to tie & has excellent jig fishing characteristics.

A bad day on the lake is much better than a good day at work!

I've tried power pro and tug-o-war. The Power Pro didn't dig in to the line spool like the tug-o-war. Thinking about trying some suffix. I like the suffix mono-seige, so I'll give suffix braid a try.

PowerPro. Everyday, saltwater, freshwater, small fish and big. When you need to get them in the boat for a living, PowerPro wont let you down.

The rod broke, but the PowerPro didn't!

Power Pro 65#. Tried both the Stren and Powerpro 30# but the small line diameter caused it to dig or tangle too much to where I kept snapping off baits.

So its power pro with a 6 foot leader of Seaguar 20# for a leader joined together with either a double uni or a surgeons knot. The leader provides some stretch or give on the hook set. thumb

I like PP too, but the Suffix is smoother and quieter going thru the guides. I use both.

I chose Power Pro, never used any of the other brands listed because I've never had a reason to stray. If it aint broke dont fix it.

I really like the FINS Windtamer braid on my spinning reel. Absolutely no wind knots.
