I've been using this one for years and it's the most accurate I've found. If you click on the map it zooms on your area and you can pinpoint your exact GPS location and weather report. Can't get more precise than that!
Just one more cast!

I also use iWindsurf.com On the left menu click on Meteograms and then select the lake you'll be fishing on or near.

If you use the NOAA site look down to the right and click on hourly graph. this is what you get, it is a lot easier for me to get a good timeline on. http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php...amp;AheadDay=48The forecast just keeps getting better each day ! Phill

I use the NOAA site for forecasts since it's been the most accurate for me and they update their forecast during the day or night. However, since I fish saltwater and I live 90 miles from Galveston, real time wind conditions are very important to me. Wundeground has some real time wind condition sites which update every 10-60 seconds, depending on the site, in 5 minute intervals. If I want to fish West Bay, I use the Pirates Cove real time wind conditions "before" I get in my truck. If you click on the link below and watch it for a few minutes, you'll see the actual wind direction and speed updating about every 10 seconds. http://www.wunderground.com/swf/Rapid_Fire.swf?units=english&station=KTXGALVE10You can use the same Wunderground site for actual real time wind direction and speed for the area you plan on kayak fishing or jetty fishing. For me, it sure beats the 10-15 mph wind speed that's forecasted when it's already blowing 17-22 mph before I leave at 4am in the morning because as it gets later, the wind speed usually goes higher. This is how I avoid blown out trips because of the wind.

Night Wing I like that rapid fire. Could you post some for dfw area lakes or tell us how you find them. Ray Roberts, Ray Hubbard, Lavon, Tawakoni, etc: EVERYONE, keep updated on weather. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zblMZHqdeCAI use the NOAA site for forecasts since it's been the most accurate for me and they update their forecast during the day or night.
