Your welcome, RB. Talked to a couple of folks Monday, Copano Bay has been really good. So Captain Ebest should put you on a ton of action. Don't know about this rain, Off-shore has been great for kings, chicken dolphin, sharks, and ling have been seen regularly. If you like sweet, white fish and get into the dolphin, there are awesome. Little chicken dolphin don't have much meat, so catch a good number if you can........Baffin has been kind of spotty, might be going to the Land Cut or fish the upper Laguna Madre.....The Cut is cool if you like fishing a ditch, trust me on that. ......Captain Loomis is a great guide, he'll do you right. Buddy of mine was in the U.L.M yesterday, kept 6 trout between 18" and 24", release about 20 right at minimum, 15". so that might be the area.Good Luck and have a blast.

The military bases have firework displays I believe, also Seaworld and Fiesta Texas. Fort Sam Houston has had the best free fireworks in the past. Not real sure what's going on this year.....Let me check.

Looks like the parks, Seaworld and F.T. have fireworks. Got to pay though. City of S.A. has free fireworks at Woodlwn lake, west side of town. Be warned Woodlawn is nothing like Lake T. where you're from.......Randolph and Lackland AFB's have free fireworks also. Randolph is off IH 35 NE of town, and Lackland is on the western edge of town off Highway 90. Have fun.

Hey Razorbass! Just wanted to drop in and let you know that I shoot the fireworks show at Randolph AFB. Guaranteed to be better than Lackland (our company shoots that one too). Bring the family/friends out. It's open to the public and they go all out with bands, booths, food, drink... you name it! Security might be a little tighter with the "threats" but you can still see a good show!

Try Casa Rio on the Riverwalk. Scottie from there is a big-wig there, runs the place, is president, CEO, busboy, something. He'll do you right.......But for the best Mexican food go to Blanco Cafe. It's at Blanco Rd and Oblate. The best food. Period......Have a great trip.
