Wife and I were gonna head up there this coming weekend to relax and do a little fishing. We now have 4 boats going and none of us have fished Somerville in over 10 years. Been bass fishing mostly. I remember, years ago, reports for Somerville were always kinda secret until everyone had there fill. We used to nail Somerville schoolies in the summer, but have never been there this early in the season. Any advise on what baits to chunk and/or troll and where to chunk and/or troll would be great. We are staying at Big Creek Marina. Hope the wind lays down a little.

Thanks,
Don

Go around the main lake hump south across from big creek. fish the hhump with shad, minnows, or troll crank baits. You can troll with shad also. Use gold and black, silver and black, and silver and blue crank baits. Try all three.

All I want to do is fish. Never any time for work just fish
