Does anyone know of any makers that make spinnerbaits with twisted wire not the R type?

Booyah makes one which is carried exclusively by Cabela's called the Hot Wire. Has been good to me in the spring the last few years.

I like the eye vs the open area to tie into. Don't know of any advantage.

Thanks a TON guys !! We appreciate the mention.
The twisted wire loop is far superior to the "R" Bend line tie because it makes for a more durable bait. No "Thanksgiving Wishbone" weakness in the twisted loop. No breakage....no lost fish or broken bait.
The only problem I have ever heard voiced is that ocasionally your line can get caught in the wire loop causing damage or breakage. A simple cure for that is to place a drop of Super Glue Gel in the wire loop to keep your line from getting forced between the wire loop. It will probably have to be replaced every so often, but it's far better than losing the fish of a lifetime !

Bill Dee makes fantastic spinnerbaits. If you ever get your hands on one, you will want more. And, yes, twisted wire spinnerbaits are superior and eliminate the weakening at the point of line connection that is common in R bend models.
