When i throw a single bladed spinner (colorado blade) i can feel the vibrations and its easier to tell when the fish hits the lure, when I throw a double bladed spinner bait (two willow blades) i can't feel the lure vibrating nor can I feel the fish hit it. I always throw a lake fork magic shad as a trailer but I dont think this is the problem. Is there something that needs to be changed when throwing a spinner with 2 willow blades??

Its just the fact that the blades rotate in a tighter pattern. You won't really be able to feel the blades turning because of this. The blades do not displace as much water when they turn.

The Colorado blade gives much more vibration than willows. You should still be able to feel the willow blade. I like 30 lb braid when throwing spinners. As far as not feeling the bite, fish will hit it differiant depending on a lot of things. Sometime they'll really smack it, other times it'll just stop. Don't think the type of blade will have anything to do with it. Again, braid will help you feel what's going on at the end of your line much better.

RedRaider3933 and JPost have hit the nail on the head for you. I agree that braided line will help you a lot also. I can't add anything to their answers for you.
