I always seem to catch them overnight or in the morning...but that's usually when I go fishing. They shut off for me during the heat of the day - especially since I'm in the AC by then.
PB Buff - 56lbs PB Common - 26lbs PB Mirror - 7lbs PB Grasser - 45lbs PB Koi - 10lbs

I catch them throughout the day and night,'so for me the best time is whenever I can go! If I can prebait the swim I usually have more success.

I don't think there's a time when they won't bite, but it varies from place to place and even day to day.

For us it depends on where we are and although the bite varies throughout the day I think it has more to do with what times they release water than what time of day it is.

I don't think there's a time when they won't bite, but it varies from place to place and even day to day. +1 The venue you fish plays a big part on when the bite is best, places like LBL it could be anytime in the day or evening but other places only AM bites. Now the small lake I fish close to home they don't bite until after 8 PM,that being said you just have to do some fishing and find out when they bite in the lake or pond you are fishing.
PB Common = 36-8 PB Buffalo = 62-8 PB Mirror (fully scaled) 13-0 PB Flat Head Catfish = 44

Whenever you can get on the water!
You know the old saying
If it floats, flys, or f___s it is always cheaper to rent!
You have to decide which is more important.

all day every day! seriously tho, my best results have come in the late afternoon. but theres a catch to that, i have to start at the butt crack of dawn. historically, if i start at like 5am, the fish will start up slow around 7 or 8, then be off and on with a few here and there through the day, then around 5 i start killin' em! but keep in mind, thats "historically" in reality i dont catch fish anymore so i dont know what time is good????
