some people just dont get me. we have fish frys pretty regularly around our place. i always like to fry a few extras (especially crappie) and get up the next morning and have a cold crappie sandwich for breakfast. i guess i want to know does anyone else do this or like them that way. thanks and be sure to leave some for seed.

I will. I usually eat it cold by itself though for breakfast. I really like a crappie Po'Boy the next day too. food

Never thought of doing that. I don't like Cold Fish! But Toast me an English Muffin and Throw a Jimmy Dean Sausage Patty along with a nice Crappie Fillet fresh out of the pan. Man I would scarf that down in a New York Minute.

I don't eat it for breakfast. But I like it cold almost as much as when it is hot. Makes a great sandwich for lunch or is just plain good by it's lonesome.

That sounds like a good breakfast to me!

I love leftover fish and hush puppies! I have been known to sleepwalk from the bedroom to the fridge in the middle of the night, load a plate, drop on some tartar sauce and saunter back to bed. Nice late night snack too I suspect.

I like it hot for lunch. I heat the oven to 450, put a couple of filets on a cookie sheet, get 'em hot, then make a sandwich with toasted wheat, mayo and mustard, pickled jalapenos, lettuce, and tomato, YUM!! Did it yesterday!

Even better yet, I bake my extra fillets...let them cool, throw them in a bowl, mix them all up with a little mayo and tarter sauce...and you have yourself a "crappie salad sandwich"...very tasty.

It's like fried chicken, good hot or cold.
