I was there this weekend, winds were 25 during the day and 40 at night.

Water is dirty.

Yup, and been the same for the past few weeks. Very depressing. I have heard of a few ladyfish and a couple s'macks being caught by fly flinging contacts, but other than that it's really hit and miss.

Dave, if you'd come down this coming weekend (4/16) you could've come to the fly fishing shindig we are having (tying demos, casting demos, casting competition, camaraderie) - maybe one of these days. It'd be great to meet you.

Fished Rockport, Copano Bay,Port A and Packery Channel today. Not a lot of fish being caught.Been here since Friday and the temps are good but the wind has been really high. Also seaweed on the beaches pretty bad.Hoping to fish Charlie's Pasture and the seawall in Port A tomorrow.Come for the Sandfest and Windfest but the fishing has not been great, not even for those on boats.

Today (4-13-11) the wind is blowing 10-15mph and the surf is starting to look really good. Fishing was slow but i got a late start. Earlier in the week I caught some ladyfish and there was some smacks chasing glass minnows. Yesterday was pretty windy and I fished Oso near TAMUCC with no luck. This evening should yield some fish though at last light.

SoldierGirl I am sending you a PM.
