Yep. Today I ordered the Avet EX-2 narrow
and the Calstar WC-655XXH.
Spooled it up w/ 135# spectra and 80# Hi-vis
Yellow Ande top shot. I should get it on Fri.
Price wasn't too painful, but absolutey the most expensive rig I've ever purchased.
C'mon, AJ's!!!!!!!!!!!!
C'mon, Tuna!!!!!!!!!!!!
Come see what lite-liner's got for ya!!!
just as good as waiting for Christmas.

LL,
Your going to like it. Might want to order a 50# clear topshot.

Looks like I may have been infected also. Just looked inside one closet and there are twelve (12) offshore rigs there and I just ordered two more rods!
I need more hands!

lol, I get that painfull question all the time from the wife... what do you need so many rigs for.... answers always the same.... the same reason you need so many shoes. then she points out mine are 300-1000$ a piece and hers are 20-100$

congratz ll on your rig im sure youll like it!

A tackle ho I am, & a tackle Ho I'll always be!!
Think that's about it until next year when I get
marylou to do up my "cinco tuna" special.
Now maybe a diamond-encrusted fighting belt......

hey galveston,, what kind of rig did you have on the tres tuna trip? The one that you put the
hurting on the AJ & tunas. I was thinking about buying another rig & remembered about yours.

Avet 4/0 exw
and a calstar 755xh (i think)

its a good rig but, Im starting to think that the action on the rod is too light.... it seems to fish 60# better than 80#

maybe that will be the second rod I build....

or, maybe ill shorten the topshot....

I think you have a e-glass rod, probably a 655h or 655xh. A 755xh is a solid 80# light 100# rod.
