Out of all the local ponds there are only a couple that I always fall back on. If time is a crunch, need something close, and you want garrantied catch. I have my go to ponds. They dont produce huge but you can go and catch something to get the urge satisfied.This is my new favorite cause hidden from the wind-


first cast this morning and I got a little bass with my coffe.

It has crappie too.


I can stop at this place on the way home from work and in about 30 minutes have caught about 10 fish. Just a good old plain fun pond.

Holly Molly I found a new one! Almost every cast a fish! Also caught my first catfish on a fly.

I have a pond like that I call my "confidence pond". If I'm trying a new technique or have been skunked somewhere I can always go there and have a great day.

Lots of little green sunfish and water snakes in the pond this morning. Not much else.

I did it! I finally found that super secert location that no one fishes and is bad [censored]! It has big bass and they are virgins to the lure. Most people would look and say it just a hole that dries up but NOOOOOO! I have photos but first need to remove the gps data. There is something BIG in there that snapped my line last night after a short fight. Going back tonight to get my lure back. Pics to come soon.

Oh cool what kind of boat you end up getting? Its's too hard to access. Bank only this one. I might take you but I have to blind fold you first. Sorry guys this one has to keep secert. Too many of my old good spots have gone no tresspassing. I've been stuck fishing overfished ponds or city parks too long now.
