why would anyone use spinning tackle in that situation - broken heart just waiting  x2 X 3 X4

why would anyone use spinning tackle in that situation - broken heart just waiting x2 X 3 X4 It's a lot easier to fish out of a Kayak with spinning tackle in my opinion. So that may be the reason. I know when I am Kayak fishing I only you spinning reels. But hardly ever use them when I am in my boat.
