Good school. I don't think the bass club existed when I was there.

SFA is an awesome school, big university style in a small town. great school, even better parties.

a bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work!!

There are some SFA club members on TFF, maybe recovering from Kentucky Lake. SFA had the first Univesity Bass Club, started sometimes back in the late 70's..Several great lakes nearby for practice between classes.

The SFA Bass Fishing Club does have a Facebook page. Might get some information off of that.

Message me if you want some good info on the club....

There are some very good lakes with in an hour of Nac, I couldn't see myself going anywhere else. When you come to hit me up on here and we can go out to lake nac, it's been really good fishing out there the last few weeks

What would you study...I'm an Education Alumni. SFA is a great college. Like mentioned...plenty of great lakes to fish within a few minutes drive. Neat town too. Good country music and lots of festivals if you like that sort of thing.
There's a good tackle shop north of town. Mr. Hale has tons of inventory for the size of his building, and you won't beat his prices if you shop through his stuff.

Former Prez. here, +1 on the nearby lakes, really can learn to fish deep grass on pinkston, lake nac has it all, grass, structure. Thats not to mention the two big boys Rayburn and Toledo, great memories and friends from that school and club, go ahead a register, you just gotta remember to go to class

Don't forget to check out the forestry program. We have a great one. I am a senior in the forest wildlife management program and love it. You will have a great time at SFA.
