Day late on the report. Got to the boat at the marina about 5:15a.m. and made the short run to one of my favorite lighted docks. Tied on the pearl cocahoe and first cast in the lights and a 23 inch hybrid told me good morning! Hybrid after hybrid with a few magnim whitebass was the rule until it got light then they shut off. By that time I had my limit of great hybrids with catch and relase pull the kinks out of your line action!!! Cranked the motor up and headed to the 309 flats and got into a big school of good sized whitebass and got my limit of 25 in about 40 cast with a few small hybrids mixed in. I stayed and played with catch and release for about another hour and then tried to find the blue cats. Ended up catching about 6 kitties. Went back to the marina by 11:00. Jigged for a few crappie and ended up with about 6 small ones plus a 5 pound black bass on the little crappie rig. Filleted all the fish and was back in Waxahachie by 2:00. What a fantastic day!! Good luck!! Craig

RC is an awesome fishing lake but very deadly with this south wind. It is a beating but I hear reports from the weather man that it is suppose to lay soon. Hope so.

BD1 click on this link and it should take you to evry pattern made. I use the white/pearl 95% of the time. They are made by H&H lure compant I believe. Great bait!!!! Good luck! Craig http://www.landbigfish.com/showcase.cfm?PID=2906

sounds like a very good day. How heavy a jig head are you using?
The gene pool could use a little chlorine.

I use differant weights. Alot of times I will use heavier jig head to try to get through the smaller schooling whites on top so I can pickup some bigger whites and hybrids under the school in deeper water. This lure also works great bouncing it off the bottom like a slab. Get you some differant weights and see what works best for you. My brother (Notch) uses cocahoes trolling on Proctor and does real well with it. Good luck! Craig
