Arrow Ford Bass Club & Dean's Marine with Skeeter boats will be having their 19th annual open tournament at Lake Brownwood next Sunday, April 17.The entry fee is $35 plus $5 for big bass. First place is a guaranteed $1,000.00 and second is a guarenteed $500.00. Headquarters will be at the Mountain View Lodge Store. You can Register at the Mountain View store on Saturday from 10:00 AM -8:00 PM or Sunday Morning from 4:00 AM - 6:00 AM.

On Saturday Skeeter boats will giving demo rides during the registration times. There will a $500 drawing on Sunday at the awards ceremony for those who participated in the Skeeter Demo rides. (Minimum 18 years of age.) YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN.

This is a 3 fish stringer with a 14" minimum length... Also Sunday at weigh-in there will be free Hamburgers furnished by Pruitt Metal Buldings Systems and Bud Williams Welding Services.

Just a little info and help on where to put in it.... The dam is accessible and I would call about the state park to see if they are open but other than that the other ramps are unusable.... The lake is somewhere around 10 ft low.... If your not super familiar with the lake I'd be fairly careful running the lake especially before daylight... Sunken island is north of McCartney island and is visible now.... I've heard a couple people talk about a sand bar over by state park.... Several points that are shallow and dangerous if your on plane..... And the west side of McCartney island is also very shallow.... How is brownwood with the wind?

Not too bad with the south wind you will be able to get out of it in several places.... Nothing like Ivie with 20 mph winds
