Has anyone been able to repair a Springfield Spring-Lock power pedestal. Mine has broken and will not work. It is stuck in full extended position. The control rod has no effect and feels as if it is disconnected. Any ideas on how to repair ?

There is a screw under the control rod that allows you to release the pressure and adjust the valve.....this is the link.
