Got a question that I have never asked, I have a 2007 Triton 18ft, do I need to install a drain plug in the live wells while on the water. I have seen some boats that don't require a plug. I have been installing 1 because the water will drain when I trailer the boat.

My 01 TR186 has a drain plug. I had to replace the original with a conventional bilge drain plug just finger tighten.

My TR186 has a plug also. It would be nice to have a cut off but I have never used one that didn't seem stiff and about ready to break when used.
