I don't think you see the giants you used to out of rayburn but the 6 to 8 lb class of fish there is awesome. Toledo probably produces 3 to 1 on 10lb plus fish than rayburn in the last few years. Even Casey's 35lb sack only had a big fish of just under 8. I think last weekend there was a 10 but still not very common for those that size on rayburn any more.

Rayburn still has plenty of big fish in it. I fish it all the time and sometimes wonder myself on 10 plus until we go bowfishing at night they are still there trust me and tons in the 7-9 lb range. That lake is fished so hard by tournys that the big ones aint no different than a deer that makes it to be 3 years old the older they get the smarter they get they have been there seen that and aint going to just bite anything.

Is there any nice RV parks on the lake? Was thinking of fishing it in two weeks? Anybody know of any?

skeet call before you travel I just got word all the USACE parks will be closing@10.00am,everybody camped will be told to leave before the gates close at 10:00am if the Gov't shutdown happens tonight.don't use a USACE Ramp or your vehicle could be towed if parked inside a gated park.???????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Jackson Hill should still be openBlack Forest Ramp is closed due to low water,I'm not sure about how the USFS plans to deal with the shut down.
I talked with Bob Sealy he said he had something worked out for the Big Bass Splash so everybody can quit calling me for info
