If you don't mind me asking, what was the total out of pocket amount? Just asking so I can start saving up. Ren, delivered the Mokai is $3900 ($3500 + $400 freight). I also ordered the spray skirt for an extra bit. Don't forget that you have to register it with TP&WD and pay them the 6.25% Sales Tax (about $277 in my case).. Since the bare boat weighs 100lbs, I opted for a trailer and NOT to attempt to put it on a roof rack as most racks are only rated at 70lbs. BTW, I saved for it just like you are talking about...put a $20 away when I had some spare cash, I sold some extra stuff on Craigslist or eBay and squirreled away that cash and in about 4 months I had enough to order. I could of just ordered and paid out of pocket, but this time I self financed it.. I ordered on a Monday and they motor carrier delivered the next monday from New York State. Lead times vary depending upon sales...and I have heard that lead times can number into the weeks or months during high demands.

What I'm curious about is how stable are they, and what happens if you turtle clear across the lake or miles up the river?
Is the power plant done, or is there some safeguard that if you turn it right side up sort of like a jetski you will be back on your way?
Just one more cast!
