If launching my boat alone wasn't such a hassle I would be about 95% solo. However, it doesn't matter much out here with most of our lakes on the verge of being unfishably low. The ones that have water tend to be so crowded at the ramps that to go solo, at least for me, would be to invite impatient reactions from those waiting on me to launch.

At least my boat and truck are paid for, woo hoo!

I enjoy my fishing buddies and never turn down an opportunity to spend a day with a friend, but I do like to fish by myself ,I think just because its up to you to find the pattern and learn. I tend to retain more when I fish alone. Either way is great

I fish alone most of the time unless its on a Wed. On Wed most the strippers I have "invested" in their futures are off and like to get out on the lake.. woot

+1 and sometimes you get a partner that talks too much, phone rings too much or they keep fishing behind the boat and get hung up so you have to keep backtracking.

Some fishing partners are just fine, they know how to fish correctly and don't talk about everything that comes to mind. They concentrate on fishing.

My son lives out in Abilene and works two jobs so its hard to get him to go. Other friends around here are busy with their schedules so its touch and go. I don't like to go by myself but I do most of the time. It's nice to have someone along to Texas BS with but that doesn't mean constant talk for when I'm on the lake and get into the zone I don't say much.

Just wish the wind would stop blowing 30-40 on the weekends. Dang!

I fish by myself at least 80% of the time and I really enjoy it.
However when I'm by myself I am not as patient and move more frequently.

Don't mind fishing alone. But, I prefer to fish with family and/or friends.

my old man fishes with me some, but the rest of the time I go alone. I dont mind fishing alone and most of my other buddies require more attention than a 4 yr old.

I love to fish alone. After a long week of people being on you for decisions and whatever my job throws at me. I look forward to fishing in peace and quiet.

Sometimes I do enjoy company but so many guys want to turn the day into a competition on the boat. I took this year off of tournament fishing and just want to relax. If I want the competition, I'll throw my money down and get it where it pays something.

Solo for me as it is a nice escape! I do go on occasion with a friend, but there is a lot to be said for the piece and quite!
